Participating in Earth Day and Earth Hour to reduce the carbon footprint and promote environmental awareness.
Company-wide participation in both events, paired with the energy and waste measures we keep running the rest of the year.
TAD takes part in Earth Day and Earth Hour across all of its operational sites, switching off non-essential lighting and equipment and running awareness sessions for site teams and client staff.
The events are the visible part of work that continues year-round:
- Energy management: monitoring consumption per site and acting on the outliers
- Waste management: segregation at source and recycling wherever a stream exists locally
- Water conservation across the facilities we operate
- Supplier selection that favours lower-impact consumables and equipment
Reducing a building's carbon footprint is ultimately an operational discipline, and facilities management is where that discipline is applied every day.

Establishing a training center to develop national talents and empower youth.
TAD's training center was established to close the gap between the skills available in the local market and the standards our clients expect on site. The programme covers the full range of facilities management disciplines: - Technical maintenance: HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems - Soft services: cleaning protocols, hospitality and front-of-house conduct - Health and safety: risk assessment, permits to work and incident reporting - Customer service and reporting through our CAFM platform Every trainee completes a supervised placement on an active TAD contract before graduating, so what is taught in the classroom is immediately proven in the field. Graduates join our talent pool and are given priority for vacancies across our operational sites.
